About Our School

Welcome to the Kahlil Gibran School Website!

Our Mission
The staff and parents of the Kahlil Gibran Elementary School are committed to establishing a safe, positive environment for learning.  Our curricula will reflect diversity of cultures to enhance the development of each student.  This will be accomplished through our Reading Writing Magnet Programs.  Our students will be literate and productive citizens.  Our expectations for academic excellence are high.  Students are taught in a challenging environment that encourages creativity, participation and involvement. This philosophy is enhanced through positive open lines of communication with each child, parent, teacher and school administrator.  Higher order thinking is encouraged to assure each child's future success.
